Our Services
Psychological evaluation and assessment services
All evaluations at Siebert Psychological Services include client and, when appropriate, caregiver interviews, the administration of specific psychological tests, and a feedback session in which a full written report is provided.
Learning disability and academic evaluation
Students who struggle with academic achievement may have an undiagnosed learning disorder. These evaluations assess a student’s intellectual and academic skills in the areas of reading, writing and math in order to identify any needed accommodations to foster learning potential.
ADHD evaluation
Siebert Psychological Services offers ADHD assessments for children and adults struggling with problems concentrating, inattention and hyperactivity. These symptoms may be affecting academic or work performance as well as difficulties completing everyday tasks and chores.
Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluation
Diagnosis of Autism helps families access appropriate services including speech, occupation and applied behavioral therapies. Early diagnosis and the creation of an appropriate treatment plan allow children with Autism the opportunity to maximize their developmental potential.
General psychological evaluation
A general evaluation is often recommended to clarify a diagnosis and create a specific treatment plan. This involves a general assessment of a client’s intellectual, emotional, social and behavioral functioning as well as personality features.
Reasons a client may seek a general psychological evaluation include:
Mood problems such as depression, anxiety and mania
Interpersonal issues in family, peer or work relationships
Clarifying treatment goals in individual, couples or family therapy
Bariatric and pre-surgical evaluation
Pre-surgical evaluations are often required by an insurance company and allow the identification of patient strengths and supports that help ensure post-surgical success.
